陈文胜教授, 1989年和1998年毕业于中山大学数学系,分别获得理学学士和博士学位。近年来,多次以访问教授的身份访问香港浸会大学计算机系。目前研究兴趣为:图像处理与模式识别、核方法、小波分析及其应用等。陈教授在《IEEE Transactions on SMC, Part B》、《Pattern Recognition》等国际、国内权威期刊及国际会议ICASSP、ICPR等发表学术论文70余篇。担任国际杂志《ISRN Machine Vision》、《International Journal of Electronics and Computers》编委。为《IEEE   Transactions on Neural Networks》、《Neurocomputing》、《电子学报》、《通讯学报》、《计算机学报》等国内外杂志特约论文审稿人和许多国际会议的论文审稿人,担任多个国际会议程序委员会委员和分会主席;现为广东省计算数学学会副理事长, 广东省图形图像学会理事。主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目6项,主持深圳市科技基础研究项目、中科院数学机械化重点实验室开放基金项目和广东省计算科学重点实验室开放基金项目各一项,参加香港研究资助局(RGC)项目和深港创新圈项目各一项。
